Animal Farm is a novel written by George Owell. It is a novel that made plain old farm animals to greedy and warring. George Owell's imagination had put human intelegence into all the animals in a farm. He wrote this book to symbolise the Russian Revolution. He chose the farmer to be the last Tsar in Russia. It symbolises that the man who was overtaken by the pigs.
This novel is very good because it defines what greed can lead to and the revolution was explained throughout the novel by just using animals. I think that this book is realy good because every prop or character in the novel is carefully named, placed (when and where in the novel), and described to represent main events in the revolution.
George Owell alo builds up the tension very well. At he beggining everyone was near to equal but int he near end it was only a few of the pigs who ruled the place with some other farmers. This automaticaly shows what greed can cause.
Also through out the novel, a lot of live were taken away because of war and the unresponsible orders from the pigs (boss of the farm). Later on the stroy, the pigs are growing more and more like men treated the other farm animals like men would.
I would give this 7.5 out of ten because to me, this genre of book i dont realy have that much interest in but this novel can score 7.5 on me is realy good. I suggest to you to read this great novel if you havnt already read it. Please Leave a Comment :) It has 122 pages and can be borrowed at school
