Hurricane Gold-Charlie Higson
The Wish List by Eoin Colfer

Meg Finn is in trouble. Her mother is dead and her only family is an abusive stepfather who does nothing but watch TV all day. He treats her horribly and abuses her. So when her mother died, Meg embarrasses her stepfather, Franco and he is forced to resign from his job, plus his brand new television that he bought with Meg's special, expensive ring is ruined by Meg. When she is forced to help Belch Brennan, a dim-witted criminal, rob the elderly Lowrie McCall, the attempted burglary ends in disaster. In an attempt to scare Meg, Belch shoots a gas tank, killing them both. While Belch is sent straight to hell (his soul merged with that of his vicious dog Raptor by the explosion, making him a half-boy half-dog creature,) Meg's perfect balance between good and evil earns her a chance to redeem herself. She is sent back to earth in order to help Lowrie complete the items on his "wish list": a list of things that he feels will correct the many mistakes he made in his life.
Meanwhile, Satan has decided that he wants Meg's soul in Hell and Beelzebub is forced to send Belch to recapture Meg and make her sin and become evil, making Belch and Elph, the hologram with which he has been equipped, the chief antagonists in the story.
The Wish List:
1) Kissy Sissy - Kiss Cicely Ward, (aka Sissy) a popular talk-show granny and one-date girlfriend of Lowrie.
2) Kick a ball over the bar in Croke Park.
3) Punch a man who bullied Lowrie at school, Punch Brendan Ball.
4) Spit over the Cliffs of Moher.
Ultimately, following a confrontation on the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, Belch is destroyed and Meg's final act of holiness - giving her stepfather a new life - gains her entry to Heaven.

Esperanza Rising-Pam Munoz Ryan
In this book, the Spanish phrase increases the level of reality in the story, and Ryan is always careful to translate the phrases so that even someone who does not speak Spanish may easily comprehend. This book is a good choice for anyone interested in the Depression-era United States, the change in fortunes of immigrants from Mexico to the US or the life of migrant workers in the past and present however it's not an interesting choice to read when you're reading books.

Owl Island, by Randy Sue Coburn
Deception Point by Dan brown
The book really does take you for a ride, leading you on and then surprising you with a twist on every corner.
I found this book to be very real, as everything is surported with facts and it's clear the author, Dan Brown has done his research. What make this book so interesting is that all of the events are possible which makes you really think hard about the 'What If's'.
I really enjoyed this book and found it 'Un-putdownable' and if your looking for a interesting, thrilling and surprising novel i suggest this book.
Percy Jackson , The Lighting Thief
Naked Prey- John Sandford
The book revolves around a detective named Lucas Davenport, who is sent to Custer County after a black man and white woman are hanged from a tree. Everyone is jumping to the conclusion that the couple were lynched, but as Davenport soon discovers, there's far more to the story than meets the eye.
Enter Loren Singleton, an eccentric Cadillac-obsessed local of Custer County, who at first seems to be only a slightly shady car-repair expert, but quickly evolves into a far more sinister character. Another intriguing role in the novel is that of Letty West, the spunky 12 year old that found the hanged bodies of Jane Warr and Deon Cash. She aids Davenport and his sidekick, Del Capslock, several times throughout the novel and there's a pleasant twist in store for her at the end.
This is a complex story about drug operations, kidnapping, serial murder and ace sleuthing. But the one thing it DOESN'T focus too much on is love. Given today's circumstances, where love is the centre of almost every book or movie, I found this to be a fantastic refresher from what I consider irritatingly predictable.
9/10. Epic!! :)
Aladdin

Animal Farm by George Owell

Lock and Key -Sarah Dessen
A seventeen-year-old girl named Ruby Cooper had been abandoned by her mother a few months before graduation, forcing her older sister to take her in and live with her family. This sister was the same one that had disappeared 10 years before, and Ruby has to find ways to adapt to her drastically improved lifestyle. Over the course of the story, she learns from the people surrounding her, finally realizing that in life, we have to accept help, as well as give it back. This realization, then, is put to the test when she unearths a dark secret about Nate, her next door neighbour.
I found myself drawn to the novel instantly when browsed it, and the more I read, the more hooked I got. In my opinion, it is a well-crafted, beautiful, and
